Car Type

It is essential that you understand what a car type is before you choose one for your car. When purchasing a car, you must choose a ‘Type’ for it – unless it is already chosen, like in the pretune shop.

The type of a car decides which events that car can enter. For example a show car can only enter shows, and not races.
This is why you should decide carefully before choosing a type for your car, as once decided, the only way you can change it, is for a Cr.10,000 fee. You should also note that to enter certain races, some ‘Types’ need special parts – these are detailed further down the post.

What events can each car type enter?

Circuit: Circuit cars can only enter ‘Circuit’ races, and cannot enter shows, unless they are open shows.

Drift: Drift cars can only enter ‘Drift’ races, and cannot enter shows, unless they are open shows.

Drag: Drag cars can only enter ‘Drag’ races, and cannot enter shows, unless they are open shows.

Street: Street cars can only enter ‘Street’ races, and cannot enter shows, unless they are open shows.

Show: Show cars can only enter shows, and cannot enter races, unless they are open races.

When entering races in the ‘Beginners League’, you do not need to buy additional parts for any ‘Type’ car. However, when entering the Novice, Intermediate and Professional leagues, the following parts are required. These parts can be purchased in the ‘Race Specific’ part shop.

What to say...? Well I like gaming, particularly racing be it simulation or arcade. I own a Logitech DF GT, it may not be much but is a nice, cheap wheel to get if you fancy getting yourself a wheel. I might not be the most skilled racer, but I certainly enjoy it. The main games I enjoy playing include the Gran Turismo series, GTR 2, Live For Speed, Codemasters F1 and a few NFS games. I also play the Smash Bros. series but for now only play the fan-made version Super Smash Flash 2. I'm also interested in stop motion animations, with the use of toys rather than clay but I've yet to have the time to make one these days.
